WELCOME! Life Is A Blessing

The older I've gotten, the more I've realized that my childhood was wildly different from most kid's childhoods, and for this I'm grateful! While I have to admit there was trauma in my childhood (an all too common experience for so many), I also remember lots of JOY.

I LOVE the movies I grew up on as a kid! They've made me into the person I am today.

I LOVE the memories of delicious foods and traditions we had whether that be Saturday morning cartoons with a special family recipe, decorating our bikes for the our neighborhood's 4th of July parade, dance shows, learning new instruments, attending festivals, or going up to a the family lodge for the holidays.

I LOVED creating lists and having imaginary worlds for my 40+ dolls who each had their own first, middle, and last names and birth dates -- some which I have memorized to this day. I loved writing my own stories (which rarely got past Chapter One)... I loved playing in the backyard - remember skip ball? better than jump rope! - drawing with chalk, riding different bikes and trikes, playing on the swing set or having imaginary worlds in the woods. Trips to Toys "R" Us were special...

When I look back on my childhood, these are the things I love to REMEMBER and BRING WITH ME into adulthood. These are wonderful treasures from my life that I would love to someday pass on to my kids should I have any. For now I can share them with you :)
